Adoration

It is time to warn you about those who love to be adored. You would not have believed me if I had warned you about this during the election. Oh, you might have seen it. The giant attendances for various speechs while he ran for President was the first give away. But you probably just thought that is what people do when they run for President.

But once you become the President or the leader of any nation why do you continue to give speechs in front of thousands of people? The answer is that you not only love it, but you love the adoration. You use your gift to make the opposite seem true. Going more into debt will get us out of debt. Government jobs are better than private sector jobs. You get the idea. He was very good with a prepared speech.

Think back and ask yourself who gave speeches to extra-large crowds? Don't count those special events like a Pope giving an outdoor mass, or Chuchill at Buckingham Palace at the end of World War II. Count the ones where a leader of a nation was often filmed while giving speechs to those extra-large crowds. Anyone come to mind? If so, was that person who came to mind considered to be normal? Or was that person who came to your mind considered to someone with a severe character disorder at the least?

The man who came to mind would be considered a rock star by today's standards to those that admired him. Much like your President. It is never good for a Democracy to have a rock star as the leader. Rock stardom is based on form and less on function. Core beliefs that are easily expressed is what makes a President into a great leader.

GM and Socialism

During March Madness, the NCAA Basketball tournament, there occurred another form of Madness. Over the weekend it was announced that the CEO of GM was going to be removed. Not at the hand of the board or even the shareholders, but at the hand of the government.

GM as you may recall took money from the federal government and as such the government owned GM much like a pusher owns an addict.

Some felt that this was no big deal others felt it was a very big deal. Of course the President made it sound like it was the best thing that could be done in order to make the automotive industry more secure. Such Orwellian chatter was becoming more common place.

People who thought this was a good move in a few months began to realize that the federal takeover of the private sector had begun that day in March.

It was hard for those opposed to the President to sound reasonable. Presidents always sound like they are in charge, that they are reasonable. They stand behind the Great Seal; a flag draped stage with great lightening. Others cannot compete with the setting, nor the aura that a President holds. Just ask Bobby Jindal. The message no longer mattered; we had begun to be a nation of citizens that viewed our politics like an episode of American Idol. We were not the judges, the talking heads of the media were the judges and the conservatives were being voted off every week. .

So the few people who stood up against the President sounded like they were crazed. Direct questions where thrust at them while the President made his statement and walked away. Those in disagreement stood no chance. Being bombarded with pointed questions made them sound far from main stream. Again the media had great influence over the way this act was portrayed.

Soon companies that really could use some federal funds to survive refused them out fear of being micromanaged by the Feds. It did not matter because soon the Feds were micromanaging numerous companies all across the land, companies that did not take any Fed funds. The madness was spreading like a plague and those opposed were labeled non-believing heretics.

Gun Insurance

The feds did not outright ban guns, but required gun owners to carry gun insurance. The thinking was that if someone is killed or hurt by a gun the insurance company would pay for the loss or medical care of the victim. It was surprising to me how quickly people rushed to support this new federal law. Many said this was no worse that insurance for drivers. But just like some car drivers, it was pointed out, people don’t always buy insurance. Would criminals buy insurance? Soon the bill was changed that proof of insurance had to be offered at the time of purchase. Since guns could be stolen or lost, this insurance that was bought at the time of purchase, lasting for 99 years. Not some small annual premium, but a hefty one-time fee. I read that a $300 handgun would also cost $8000 for this one-time insurance. I don’t have to tell you how this went over with gun owners. Soon the penalty portion of the bill was made public: 10 years in Federal Prison.

It was at this point I first heard the word: secession vocalized by not just a few extremists, but by sitting governors. It will soon become apparent to you that I am not fond of what the media did during this time to insight the whole country. They would find the most vocal, most extreme people on both sides of the issue to appear on their shows. Soon we were actually discussing, what should have been serious discussion, to what state would be the first to succeed from the Union. The anti-gun groups loved the insurance bill and soon endorsed the bill with the hope that either people would have to turn in their guns or go to prison. They did not care which happened, although I think that many were hoping that both would occur. This was the liberal’s idea of rapture: all the guns gone and all the conservative rednecks in prison. The seeds of rebellion were planted.

Explanation

This is a history as best as I recall of the causes of the Second Civil War. I have had the input of others who I trust to give me some of the content of this on-going blog. In all cases I have tried to get at least two people to confirm the facts. I have been told that I should not write this blog because too many people will not like what I will report to you. There was a time when we did have free speech in America so I will just let you, the reader decide what to do with this history of the Second Civil War.

You are free to pass this blog on to others. I will try to publish as often as I can, but with the way things are today I may only get to publish a few at a time.  I will let you know the date I write each, but I will not tell you my location as of the possbility of arrest.   Yes reader, I am writing in your future.  It is not easy to send these blogs back in time.  Plus I must remember to translate.  (For example, economic growth in the future means growth in government spending.  But you are about to realize that in the comming months.)

I promise that I will only report to you what I think you can handle.  If I tell you to much about your future then I fear that I may cause mass hysteria.

My only purpose in giving you this information is in the hope that you some how can change your future.  If that means that I will cease to exist then so be it as we will both be better off.
